About us

We are a family business run by two siblings, David and Ana, hence how we came up with the name “Dana”. Our experience in tour and travel began back in 2006 when David first met the country and fell in love with its beauty, versatility, and nature. He decided to settle in Ecuador in 2010 and started the construction of the lodge in the pristine cloud forest of Mindo to finally be inaugurated in February 2015. Las Terrazas de Dana Boutique & Spa was conceptualized as a pioneer in sustainable practices, personalized service, and top experiences for guests.
Once we were giving advice to our lodge guests’ about places to visit and tours in general, we have seen the necessity of creating a DMC Company that allows us to extend the same quality of services and personalized assistance for memorable trips in Ecuador, Mindo, and the Galapagos Islands.
